you always steal the covers

On the eve of our mix swap/coverfest meetup, I'm sitting at my desk procrastinating work and contemplating the contents of my iTunes. I just added [redacted] to my covers-mix playlist, but then I got to wondering - who exactly originated [redacted]? It's been done by so many different people... internet to the rescue.
