I dunno, I signed up because I have a song stuck in my head and I want to stick it in yours. She's actually from Brooklyn I think, Diane Cluck. I heard her on the Emerson College station (old school left of the dial shit son) the other day on the way to work (I am actually semi-gainfully employed and it is weird).

...more like recommend ANY music, old or new. I can only speak for myself, but I don't have it in me to be a hummingbird interneter, jumping from new to new. as long as it's coming from a passionate place, anything is open for recommendation, no matter how old or previously lauded.

Hey, this song is great! I had never heard of her before. If you like this, you should most definitely check out Fancie on Hush Records. Of course, this post is buried at this point, so maybe this comment will never see the light of day.
